Just spent two hours waiting for roadside assistance last night in a parking lot and honestly it was completely avoidable if I'd been paying attention. Car started fine in the morning, drove to work no issues, but when I came out around 8pm after dinner with friends, absolutely nothing when I turned the key. Just complete silence, no crank, no click, nothing. Had to get a jump start from a guy passing by and drove straight to a battery shop before heading home. The guy there tested my old battery and showed me it was basically dead, only holding like 10% charge. The last few weeks my car was cranking slower in the mornings, the interior lights seemed dimmer, and my radio presets reset twice which I blamed on my kids messing with the car.
