Buy 2015 F150

Based on the EPA ratings, the 2015 Ford F150 XLT 4WD with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 can expect to get 18 miles per gallon around town, 23mpg on the highway and 20mpg combined, making it a segment leader among half ton gas trucks.

In short, the 2015 Ford F150 XLT 4WD with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 might just be the perfect truck for the buyer who wants a truck that can pull a nice sized trailer, comfortably handle a heavy load and still get segment leading fuel economy when not all loaded down. Also, at no point in my test time did I find that the aluminum body made this truck anything but one of the best on sale today.

Hauling 1,000lbs of GrainThe first test for my 2015 Ford F150 was a trip to the grain store, where I purchased a half ton of bagged horse feed to load into my EcoBoost-powered half ton Ford truck.

Even with that in mind, the 2015 Ford F150 pulled my test trailer beautifully. I pulled out onto the road and accelerated up to the 50mph speed limit with the transmission set to tow/haul mode. This stretches the lower gears out more for better lower speed performance and as a result, the torquey little turbo-6 pulled my trailer around town with no problem. The 2.7L EcoBoost provides plenty of power to get up to speed from a stop at a reasonable rate and when riding in traffic around town (35-55mph), this efficient little engine has no issue getting back up to speed when I had to slow down for people turning or other interruptions in my path.

However, at the end of my 3 hour drive hooked to the 5,000lb horse trailer, I would give the 2015 Ford F150 with the 2.7L EcoBoost a solid A, with the likes of the 5.0L V8 and the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 being A+ towers. Also, while this serves as little more than a nice bonus, the 2015 F150 muffles more trailer noise than any truck I have tested, with almost none of the rattles from the horse trailer making it into the cabin of the new F150.

The Ford F-150 has a reputation for being extremely tough. Equipped with a well-built chassis, the 2015 Ford F-150 can be driven in a wide variety of different environments. While the super-rugged Raptor model is no longer offered, the new model can still be equipped with a FX4 Off-Road package. 2) Improved Fuel Efficiency

In terms of passenger protection, the 2015 Ford F-150 is among the safest trucks on the road. All trims come standard with trailer sway control, which will certainly come in handy when pulling heavy loads. The optional 360-degree camera helps the driver to easily maneuver in tight spaces. 7) Robust Styling

Our 2015 F150 Rear Shock Mounts allow both rear shocks to face in the forward position. Allowing for better offroad strength, control and feel. Includes upper and lower shock mounts for both driver and passenger side.

The Ford F-150 is one of the oldest truck lineups in automotive history, dating back over 70 years. Throughout the years, the F-150 proved to be a reliable workhorse that handled almost whatever you threw at it. Although the newest F-150 Lighting comes with top-of-the-line features and is the most powerful member of the F-series family, its skyrocketing price tag on the market makes it unavailable for most buyers. Because of that, buyers on a tight budget may prefer getting their hands on a used model from 2015 to 2020.

The standard powertrain outputs 282 horsepower and features a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels only. The towing capacity for the 2015 Ford F-150 XL with the 3.5L engine maxes out at 5,000 lbs.

According to the RepairPal website, maintaining a 2015 Ford F-150 costs roughly $700 a year, which is on par with its biggest rivals, the 2015 Chevy Silverado and the Ram 1500. On the other hand, the 2015 Toyota Tundra can cost you over $120 less to maintain in a year.

Finding the right tires can be quick and easy, especially when you have all the information you need to make a good decision. That's why you should head our way when it's time to put new tires on your 2015 Ford F-150. Firestone Complete Auto Care is the tire shop of choice for Ford F-150 tire options. Driving style is next on the list to think about when buying tires. Do you like taking your Ford F-150 far away from civilization? Going where no vehicle has gone before? If you're an avid off-roader who yearns to pioneer new paths, you have very different tire needs than a highway commuter who doesn't hit the hills very often. You'll want tires that can stand up to sand, stone, gravel, dirt, and more. You might want to look at bigger tires with stiffer sidewalls and wider tread patterns to help protect against punctures and maintain balance in uneven road conditions. But if you mostly drive around the city, a Ford F-150 tire that offers low rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency might be exactly what you want. Talk to a tire technician at Firestone Complete Auto Care for help choosing the best tire for you, or start shopping for Ford F-150 tires online. I recently bought a 3.5 (I believe) rss ready lift kit for my 2015 f-150 fx4. I already had bill stein shocks on the front and nothing in the rear.Shop put it on and I measure 1 inch lower in the front than the back. I want my truck perfectly level. the shop did not put the washers on the bottom just the top spacers fear that we would have the front higher than the back. my question is should I worry about an inch lower in the front or is there some way to make the truck perfectly level?

Just picked up a 2015 Lariat, stumbled across your sight in search for a leveling kit. I like your design but would like to retain a tad more rake. I dont like the look of level trucks because they always appear to be sagging or on the edge of it especially with lightest amount of weight put in the rear. Do you have any photos of stock tire/wheel trucks with your kit installed? I will be putting a shell on back as well so I keep thinking I should be looking for a 1.75 or the likes to retain the rake but pump up the front a tad?? I have talked to several folks that think the same way so I think they would sell well if you made them. Thanks, Chris

No sir, you should not have the CV axle issue that taller leveling kits can cause on the new 2015 Ford F150 trucks. That is exactly why this offset spacer and height was developed by our research team.

Our leveling kit for the 2015 F150 is the only correct leveling kit out there. So of course we are recommend it. As far as install, most shops charge between &75-$100 an hour labor and another $75-$100 for alignment which is absolutely necessary. So with the leveling kit plus install/alignment plus tax, you are surely going to be near the $500 mark.

That is because no other company is has taken the time to develop the correct leveling kit for the 2015 F150. The offset design prevents suspension binding and allows the front suspension to perform properly through the cycle range.

I am thinking of purchasing a 2015 Lariat 2wd, but want the front and rear height of the 4wd. What would my best option be for both front and rear? Is there a factory difference in the rear between 2wd and 4wd?

The complete DualLiner System is the best truck bed liner to keep your Ford F-150 bed looking as new as the day you drove it off the lot. It fits 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 model year Ford F-150 pickup trucks; fits all trims..

Omega is the last tune you will ever need for your 2015-2017 F150 Coyote. No longer will you need to carry around your programmer "just in case". No more worrying about poor quality fuel. No more sacrificing economy for performance. NO MORE COMPROMISES!

Installed tune on my 2015 F150 5.0, could tell a huge difference right away, transmission shifting was greatly improved and engine revved higher on shifts, throttle response is awesome, very sensitive, would recommend this tune to anyone, truck is 100% better!

Since my 2015 Ford F-150 XLT slipped in under the cut-off date for mandatory backup cameras, we decided to add one. The Pioneer ND-BC8 fit the bill and integrated easily with the AVIC-W8500NEX. Since the Ford lacked a place to conveniently mount the camera, Five Star Car Stereo made a custom bracket for the license plate.

The most expensive obstacle for 2015 F-150 owners is engine issues. These problems were at an all-time high in the 2012 models and drivers continue to report engine malfunctions on even newer F-150 trucks. The issues ranged from illuminated check engine lights to the engine actually failing while the truck was in motion. 041b061a72
