Ordeal By Innocence
The series was originally supposed to have been broadcast over the Christmas and New Year holidays of 2017/2018, but was cancelled due to the sexual assault allegations against Westwick. Its broadcast over the Eastertide of 2018 has split the series into three episodes across three weeks which has led to some dubbing it "ordeal by iPlayer".[14]
Ordeal by Innocence
In episode two, after Dr Calgary turned up to prove Jack's innocence and contacted the police station, Bellamy became a mess. He jumped in his car and tried to run Calgary over, accidentally killing himself in the process. Oops.
Ordeal By Innocence centers around an eccentric family with more than one troubling secret: "When wealthy philanthropist, Rachel Argyll, is murdered at her family estate," reads the official Amazon Prime Video description, "her adopted son Jack is arrested for her murder. He vehemently protests his innocence and eighteen months later, the identity of the murder is thrown in doubt. Now it is up to the rest of the family to decipher a killer amongst them."
No, just an ordeal. The soundtrack suggests they might be going for noir but it fails to match what's on screen. A book ripe for a decent adaptation, but sadly it's not this one, despite a stellar cast. Also, the second to last shot, over the cliff, would make even Ed Wood blanch. 041b061a72
