From the perspective of mainstream Islam, those who accept Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani as a prophet after Muhammad (pbuh) are not considered true Muslims. The belief in the finality of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mandatory. Accepting any claim of prophethood after him removes one from the fold of Islam.

Muslims are taught to respect the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) completely. Qadiani claims contradict this respect and are therefore rejected by all mainstream Muslim communities worldwide.
