Anyone else tired of fake “breaking news”?

Is it just me, or has “breaking news” completely lost its meaning? Every site I visit seems to push dramatic headlines that lead to two paragraphs of recycled info. I don’t mind opinion pieces, but sometimes I just want straightforward updates on what’s actually trending online.

I’ve been trying smaller, independent sites lately instead of big-name publishers. One site I recently checked out after someone said click here was:

What stood out to me was how their latest news content focuses on trending topics without forcing shock value. The articles are short, readable, and don’t feel like they’re written just to game ad revenue.
