My Ghost feels like a bumpy taxi and I'm not happy about it
Look, I know these are first world problems but when you buy a Rolls Royce, you expect that magic carpet ride, right? My 2016 Ghost has slowly lost that floating feeling over the last year and now I feel expansion joints, manhole covers, even those little painted speed bumps in malls. It's not crashing or clunking, just... harsh, which is honestly worse because I can't pinpoint an obvious failure. The dealer wants me to book a full diagnostic for a ridiculous hourly rate and I'm pretty sure they'll just recommend replacing all four struts plus the compressor preemptively. I've been reading that the self leveling accumulators on these can lose their gas charge over time without any external leaks, which makes the suspension behave like a car with no shocks at all. Found a place that claims to do proficient Rolls Royce suspension repair at Suspension Repair Dubai and they actually have the correct nitrogen filling equipment for the accumulators instead of just swapping parts. Has anyone here had their Ghost or Phantom suspension recharged or the accumulators rebuilt? I really don't want to throw 40k at this if it's just a simple pressure issue. Any advice from someone who's been down this road would save my sanity.
