Looking For Input After An Unexpected Recommendation
Hello everyone, hope your week’s going well. I wanted to ask for some advice after a discussion we had while reviewing a few recurring issues in one section of our facility. We noticed that even though the overall load looked normal, some equipment areas seemed to run warmer and maintenance calls were becoming more frequent. During the conversation, one of the engineers suggested checking whether a k rated transformer would be a better fit for the type of electrical load in that area instead of changing multiple components. Has anyone here made a similar switch, and did it actually improve things in day-to-day operation?
